This album was hammered out in a cinder-block studio on Austin's East side during the Spring of 2015. Everything was basically cut live in two days with some vocals and leads overdubbed later. It originated as the result of a jam session in Brenham, Texas about three weeks prior. I needed to get a record done, but had been playing solo and had no band ready, willing, or able. After jamming with Choctaw Wildfire at the Brenham party and having a really good time doing it - we decided to make a record together, booked the studio time for three weeks later, and made this record. I can't thank Charlie Pierce and the Choctaw guys enough (Leland Potter & Will Landin). I hope you enjoy it!
